A1. When a Windows 9x computer get shut off improperly (generally
due to a lock up, power failure, or user not familiar with the
Windows shut down procedure), the Internet Explorer can sometimes
lose its connection to the Dial-up icon. When this happens, the
connection can be restored by following these directions:
Double-Click on My Computer.
Double-Click on Dial-up Networking.
Double-Click on CCAonline.
Click connect after making sure that you password is entered.
Once you are properly connected, go ahead and disconnect.
Now, properly shut down your computer and shut it off.
When you turn your system back on, you should connect as usual.
A2. If you have Internet Mail:
Open Internet Mail, click on Tools, and Options.
Choose the tab at the top that says Server.
Verify your email address.
Click on the Advanced tab and check your Reply to Address.
Make sure that you save all of your changes by clicking OK.
If you have Outlook Express:
Open Outlook Express, click on Tools and Accounts.
Choose the Mail tab and select your email account.
Now choose Properties and verify your email and reply addresses.
You can leave the Reply Address blank if your email address i
correct.
Make sure that you save your changes by clicking OK.
