Q1. When I double-click on the Internet Explorer Icon, the phone does not dial and I get the message "The site could not be found." How can I fix it?

Q2. When I send mail and people try to reply, they get the message back because my return address is wrong. How can I fix that?

Q3. Why does it take forever to log in?


A1. When a Windows 9x computer get shut off improperly (generally due to a lock up, power failure, or user not familiar with the Windows shut down procedure), the Internet Explorer can sometimes lose its connection to the Dial-up icon. When this happens, the connection can be restored by following these directions:
Double-Click on My Computer.
Double-Click on Dial-up Networking.
Double-Click on CCAonline.
Click connect after making sure that you password is entered.
Once you are properly connected, go ahead and disconnect.
Now, properly shut down your computer and shut it off.
When you turn your system back on, you should connect as usual.


A2. If you have Internet Mail:
Open Internet Mail, click on Tools, and Options.
Choose the tab at the top that says Server.
Verify your email address.
Click on the Advanced tab and check your Reply to Address.
Make sure that you save all of your changes by clicking OK.

If you have Outlook Express:
Open Outlook Express, click on Tools and Accounts.
Choose the Mail tab and select your email account.
Now choose Properties and verify your email and reply addresses.
You can leave the Reply Address blank if your email address i correct.
Make sure that you save your changes by clicking OK.


A3. Make sure that you are not negociating useless protocols, or trying to log in to a Microsoft Network that does not exist. Right-click on the CCAonline connection icon in Dial-up Networking, choose Properties, and click on the Server Type tab. Make sure that Login in to network is NOT checked. Make sure that TCP/IP is the only protocol checked in the bottom portion of the dialog box.
